When it came time to pick our wedding outfits, we both agreed that we wanted to do something unique and meaningful. My husband was raised in Berlin and spent much of childhood in Austria with his grandparents. While his grandparents were unable to make the journey to America for the wedding, they were both thrilled that we chose to wear traditional Austrian outfits for our big day.

Mismatched vintage china was used for all of the place settings. Thankfully, my mother is an amazing woman that enjoys going to household sales. She spent 8 months collecting china and silverware for 120 people.

Mismatched painted chairs were used at the head table. The chairs were purchased from all different household and rummage sales and then painted.
